Strange Boost Creep
Hi guys,
Let me start off by saying that I have done my share of searching. I just got my car back from the shop and I was experiencing low boost due to an IC hose being ruptured. I fixed that, and I also covered the hole on top of the IC duct before taking it out for a spin. I have a TurboSmart Tee manual boost controller and I set it to the lowest boost possible deliberately to be safe. I tried giving it full boost several times, and the boost would pass 10, and creep up without hitting a maximum point.
My mods are as follows: Street Port, HKF F-Con, intakes, DP, stock cat, CB, MBC
After doing a buch of reading around, I keep running into the same thing: you will not experience boost creep without a mp. I don't have a mid pipe, I don't even have a HF cat, and I have a silencer on my CB, so I think it provides enough restriction. So why am I experiencing boost creep?
Any help is appreciated.
thanks,
-Daniel

I have a manual boost controller from turbo smart and the suggest taking out the ball and spring in cases of creep/spike. I just did that, and it seems to have helped somewhat....but it might be that I'm just not letting it go over 10.
