Question Stock Seq. WG Question

Hi, can you open the wastegate by hand when you are looking at it from underneath the car and the heat sheild is removed??

I can't move mine. . . . so is that normal or is my wastegate stuck??(which would explain my boost problelms)

Remove the small c clip from the arm then slip the control rod off the pin . Now the arm should move very easy . If you do not remove the rod you can put vice grips on the rod and move it with some force .Over comming the spring is not that easy .

Justus

Only if you can blow 7 psi, which I think would be very difficult.

The proper way to move the actuator is with a hand pump like a mityvac. An air compressor - well - be damn sure you're not applying over 12psi or you will have an actuator problem.
