stock psi

i just but an rx7 and i installed a boost gage and found out that the car is running 5 pounds of boost!

can somebody tell me how many pounds should be having stock.

what can be the problem, and can i fix it. thank you

Stock engine w/ oem exhaust & intake boost psi should mark as follows;

- WOT: 10psi marked at or near 3000 rpm till 4500 rpm.
- Secondary Turbo transition (at or about 4500 rpm): 8psi,..then almost immediately up to 10 psi,.. slowly loosing boost till redline.

In other words: 10-8-10 boost pattern.
