I found that the nipple behind the large capped off area on the rear turbo was not capped. Could this be the problem?

Here's the deal..Capped the above mentioned nipple and it seems my blow-off valve released a bit more air(more pressure). Small problem fixed. Just did WOT in third and fourth. Builds to 7psi to 5000 then slowly creeps to 11psi at 8000. This w/ boost controller on and off and all types of settings. Same result. I am getting frustrated. Next I guess I will check for any leaks (couplers, ypipe, etc.) Any more info. would help.
P.S. My wastegate is ported 1.24 inches..

It could be a split in some coupler or something that vents with pressure, so you wouldn't see it at idle. Were you getting high boost b4 the install? If so recheck and retighten all the connections

I just found a hose clamp that was stripped out. It is the rubber coupler from the crossover pipe to the hardpipe going into the frontmount. I will get a new clamp and test it again tomorrow afternoon. Hope fully it does the job. Let u know later..Thanks.

PROBLEM SOLVED! I found that the connecter to the step motor was not securely fastened. I checked this right off but did not physically feel the connection until now. It sure looked connected but was not clipped all the way. I set it for 10 psi and it was strong and held solid at 10 until redline! Although it felt like the car "broke up" a little but that is a different thread. Thanks for everyone's help.G...
