Bought this gasket for the downpipe, it is bent. Is it still ok or will leaks?

It was mailed in a letter envelop...

It looks fine, as long as there are no creases.

what counts as slightly used? lol.

I dont believe in using a new gasket for EVERYTHING, i rebuilt my old 1.4 inline 4 engine and re-used an OEM Gasket (5k miles old) and then ran 200bhp of nitrous through it without problem for months...

The bend on that gasket is no problem at all.

The new gaskets have a bit of forming to them that makes them thicker around the inner perimeter. Once you tighten down on it, that's gone. A used gasket will be ok, if the manifold and flange are both very flat. Some people have recommended lightly sanding off any corrosion before reusing one. Note that there is essentially no aftermarket gasket to speak of that can handle the temps of this joint.

One of these days I might try to figure how to reform an old gasket (probably with some thin wire and a rubber mallet) so that re-using one isn't a big deal.
