whell heres the thing i need to know how to take off the steering wheel becuase when im going stright the wheel is a little more to the right so i need to ajust that

 

Get an alignment

 

no you dont understand..... when it drives stright... it doesnt turn by itself its just when im going stright the wheel is a little to the right and i want to ajust the whell to make it when im going stright the wheel looks stright

 

As TwinTriangles stated, get an alignment. This problem is fixed by adjusting the tie rod lengths on each side, not by adjusting the steering wheel.

Get an alignment. You don't adjust the steering wheel, you adjust the tie rod ends. If it was aligned recently and the wheel isn't straight that's because the shop didn't center the wheel before they aligned it. Take it back and have them fix it.

You never just remove the steering wheel to re-center the steering. Doing that would mean the pinion at the end of the steering column is no longer positioned correctly on the steering rack.

 

listen to everyone else first...but if for some reason you really do need to take the steering wheel off...I found out the other day that the tire iron (for the lug nuts) is actually the same size as the nut that holds the wheel on and works pretty good at removing it...not sure about the stock wheel but there is enough clearance with the efini wheel....

 

humm could it also be the tire size? just a question?
