Steepest Torque Curve Turbo?

I'm wondering what aftermarket or even stock turbo setup will yield the steepest torque curve on a dyno? I know everyone's sick of horsepower and torque comparisons so I won't start any arguments. What I'm trying to do is figure out what turbo has a nice steep torque curve for the 3rd gen rx-7. I've looked at dynos and haven't seen anything outstanding but if you know of something that stands out, post it! I'm not asking which turbo has the most torque but rather which one has a nice steep torque line. Anyhow let me know if you have any ideas...thanks

First, I think you mean "flattest" instead of "steepest", or "steep" earlier and then "flat".

Second, there are way too many variables to just correlate peak or net torque on a turbo decision. I suggest you go browse through the dyno section, get some data, and get back to us... or, if someone wants to donate a whole lot of money for me to buy a whole lot of turbo/manifold combinations, I will do a very controlled study on torque vs turbo, and publish my research!

hahaha ok true enough. I did mean steep though - as in steep and then flat like you said. I've gone through tons of dynos and it's always people doing fastest spool-up times, or highest HP, etc...so I'm wondering if anyone knew about steepest torque...

Well the turbos that are going to provide more midrange torque are going to be optimized for maximum compressor air flow where it matters - i.e. the stock turbos or similar twins are going to give you the best out-of-the box drivability, in my opinion.

What's artguy using now?...Is he getting the M2's dyno'd or did he change to something else?
