I have recently fitted some 850cc primary injectors with a machined fuel rail. I loaded a new map in (850,850) The injectors must have had a leak on the rear rotor coz it flooded and then ran on one very very smoky rotor.I then removed the plugs and cleaned them in methanol to degrease them. I turned the car over with no plugs in and the egi fuse out. Loads of fuel misted out of the 2 rotors. I left it to vent for a day or 3 before i decided the the o rings on the primaries must be leaking under pressure. I have now refitted the injectors and added a smaller o ring behind the bottom o ring. Now the car wont fire at all...........
Do you think it could be the plugs that are now dead due to the crazy flooding
Help scottt

I was hoping to not have to remove this b!"$ard again but i cant really see no way round it now. I wish i had gone with the addition 550cc in the plenim now
You think it all could be leaking still

every single time my FC flooded the plugs got fouled and no amount of cleaning would get them to fire again. I would just used them as ATF trick plugs and get a new set instead. With the new set, it fired up within a few cranks...
I'd still make sure youre not stuck with a leaky injector though! I know its a pia but its better to be safe than sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good luck

Same thing here, two stroke four wheeler and once the plug fouled ........ never would fire again, always carried a spare new one as there was nothing that would gett it going again (although a using a lighter to heat the plug one time) did work but it didn't work everytime we tried it. I'm with ditch the flooded plugs.

Ok next chapter.
Ran the car with new plugs tonight. It was pig *** rich. We removed some fuel from the base map which made it run better. (it ran on 2 rotors) It was still pig rich. We pulled the plugs and the rear rotor plug was clean as. the front was dirty. We then pulled the primaires and it sems that the rail has not been machined properly. the rear hosing is deeper than the front. I presume the injector has to sit on the lip. I thing problem soved. just gotta kick the persons *** who i paid £45 to machine the rail now.

thoughts anybody????
