Starter Motor gets power from where?

I've relocated the battery some time ago and ran the power cable through the firewall to the fuse box.

My question is where does the starter normally get its 12v supply from since some people seem to run relocated batteries to either the fuse box, starter or alternator? Just about to fit a 2KW RX8 starter so thought its probably worth doing the wiring too? Also what gauge wire for it?

I've also done the 'Hyper' ground thing and the fuel pump rewire. Anything else that seems to be an issue like this?

Oh and I have searched through many threads about this. Know **** loads about FC starters now.

Starter is fed directly off the main fuse bblock, but i believe it breaks off before the fuses if that makes sense. Directly connected to positive terminal of battery thru terminals on box.

Yep, it's a direct unfused cable from the positive battery terminal. Stock comes straight from the fuse block that goes to the positive battery terminal - again, it is unfused.
