so im driving along on the I24 in tenn. and im cruising about 80 no prob...... then it starts to cut out or do nothing when give it more gas even just a little it sounds like the motor just stops running till i let off the gas and resume light throttle conditions and i mean very light. it took about 30 miles before it done it. so im wondering?

 

Last tuneup was when? Did you change the fuel filter ?

 

tuned up to the gills and new fuel pump and filter and secondary inj. havent rewired inj. clips and also havent rewired the fuel pump. but why would it wait 30 miles to happen but when cools down its fine could this be fuel pressure issues ?

 

Could be a bad coil too, similar symptoms. If you think it's fuel pressure, then add a fuel pressure gauge in temporarily to help diagnose.

You might trying having a high end diagnostic machine at a professional shop check this, they can often spot voltage, spark, or injector irregularities that could be from bad wiring or a short that only happens after the car heats up.
