If one of the injectors was not plugged in, would my PFC see that and know to restrict power?

Why don't you just put it back together and tell us if it runs right?

yea but this time im just going to slow it down, i ordered some gaskets from mazdatrix. so im just going to put those in along with new plugs and wires before i close her up.

on another note, I have a PFC and I believe the aws is disabled. I'm removing the AWS completely so I need to add a resistor to the plug? or since the PFC doesnt even respond to it its ok?

Status: DONE!!!!!!!!! installed Efini Y-pipe, eliminated: EGR, AWS, AWS Pipe, Double Throttle.
I finally feel the secondary turbo for the very first time!!!!!!! it sooooooooo kicks ***!!!

only issue im having now is a small coolant leak. It seems intermittent. Seems to start dripping when i turn on the heat. or just coincidence i'm not really sure.

the car is so much more fun to drive now... no more deadness at 4500.. new found power!!! weeeeeee thanks for listening to me bitch guys!

I love a happy ending.
I just did my hose job the same time as you.
I've now got some boost above 4500, too, but not quite full. I may need to adjust an actuator rod...
I also had a coolant leak (under the TB..didn't have the clamp on tight enuff).
Also painted black the UIM, TB, IC piping, Y-pipe, 2ndary inlet and strutbar ends.

Yes I also had a small leak under the tb. its easy to miss that since you're busy getting the actual tb on you forget about that damn hose on the bottom. luckily for me i now feel my secondary and gettin 11-9-11 boost pattern. better than 10-5-4 (no secondary) so its a whole new world for me. i thought it was fast when i first bought it, now... its really fast! fun!!

it took me like a month! but its not like i was working on it everyday. it did take me sometime since I was moving slow as a turbo and waiting for parts to come in. probably around 20hrs of work tho........ now who in the hell said this was a 4 hour job? LOL. I guess it could be possible because im MASTER SILICONE HOSE CHANGE GUY now! but 4hours doesnt include tear down and reassembly =oPP

Same for me. Since it was the first time for me removing all those pieces, I took my time inspecting and cleaning everything, as well as wrapping my head around the stock solenoid/actuator/valve systems.
The only system I removed was the Double Throttle. My DIY block off plate for the DTC was fashioned from an old plastic battery box, covering a nylon bolt in the shaft hole that was sealed with Form-A-Gasket.
