Stalls when going to neutral when warm
For about a month now my car has been stalling when I drop into neutral after the car is warmed up. It happen about 75% of the time the other 25% it bounces below 500rpms and settle down after a few second to a smooth 750rmp. The car runs great with the exception of falling flat on 1st gear acceleration from time to time, not boost related, when I go from normal to WOT. That only happens in 1st though. Normal city gas mileage is around 8-10mpg under 4000K between shifts. The car hard warms up before I get to work.
PFC,4x850's,intake,down pipe, hi-flow cat, cat back, FMIC
Fresh rebuild
no smoke, unless WOT (running pretty rich)
occasional ow rpm mild backfiring out exhaust
My tuner been through it a couple of time with no improvement. I'm still waiting on a dyno tune, but not real confident that's going to correct the problem.
Any ideas

There's a clutch switch that may need to be replaced. I think what happens is that when the clutch pedal is depressed, the switch switches and tells the computer to up the revs a little. If the switch is bad then this adjustment won't happen and the engine might stall. It's a $20 part, 5 mins to change. Do a search on "clutch switch" for more info.

The clutch safety switch is under the dash and is not related to a tranny r&r. it's really simple to find. Ge underneath the dash on your back and look at the clutch lever. Towards the top you'll see a little contact switch that is connected when the clutch is up. When you press the clutch down the contact switch will be open. I'm sure you could do a simple self check with a multimeter set to the continuity setting.

Thx
I had no issues at all. Just had the clutch and flywheel changed and now I have the car falling on its face when I clutch down from first to second. Could be from testing that it just went bad, but all was good before this was done. Thx for the info.
