Squeak, squack, squeek, How do i stop the interior noise??
So, my 100% stock 94 vs my daily 19 eGolf. Its like going back to horse and carriege for all the noise 😅 I enjoy most of the driving noises, but the squeaky interior not so much.
Have anyone successfully dealth with it?
I know Mazda used some sort of fabric tape between parts to stop rubbing, but is this possible to buy aftermarket or do i have to pay $30 for mazdas own kits that are a few sheets of 5x10cm pieces?

You don't have to use the fabric tape. You can use literally anything. The goal is to stabilize the part or panel so it doesn't move. Movement is whats causing the noise. In my case, I used Styrofoam where I could, rolled up cardboard, adjusted panel spacing ever so slightly and even just put tape between things.

Here is a thread that discusses interior noise.
https://www.rx7club.com/interior-ext...ments-1153273/
- quarter inch pinstipping tape
- inch wide , 1/8th thick. black, sticky back foam tape rolls from Home Depot
- 8" x 11' x 1/8" foam sheets from Dollar Store
Attack every surface that used to have the sound deadening materials.
Be extremely careful pulling plastic pieces. Most door plastic must be released from inside the door panel.
Pulling from the front will result in breakage.
Watch out for hidden machine type screws in behind the passenger window switch and lower in the door panel.
Also the small screws in the door handle cups.
Once all screws are removed, pull the door card bottom from the bottom, only about half an inch to release the fasteners, Then lift the card straight up.
if you encounter resistance, check further for screws that have not been undone.
Also the "door triangles" may block lifting up the door card. Grasp these firmly and pull straight back to release the pressure spindles.
The metal hangers at the top of the card often have lost their foam insulation. They cause a lot of rattle.
If you have hard suspension and a loud muffler you can expect interior ratlles.
It is hugely rewarding to remove the squeaks.
