That took some digging! It thought it looked familiar, it has a very distinct looking tip and can.

This is a picture from Hyper-Rev 23 which is basically a parts catalog and tuner guide for individual cars. I have the whole set

You scored a nice exhaust!

With the construction and the JASMA badge that points to it being on the quiet side, could also be more restrictive. Also spend some TLC with it and you can clean it up and get it looking good again. Getting the melted plastic off the exhaust tip will make a huge difference.

Wow that was a good find! Lol never seize to deliver rx7 fd info! Lol

knight sports sounds like a rare Japanese brand/company? Wow that’s amazing you found and keep those magazines!! 👍👍 and they had exhaust info!!

hope it sounds good. That’s what I’m going for, nothing too loud. More of a higher pitched or tuned sound.. mild but a nice tone.

right now I have the stock twins w an Hks dp, racing beat midpipe and resonator and a stock muffler. Sounds good but pretty quiet..

Knight Sports is one of the big RX-7 tuners in Japan -

RX-7??FD3S? | KNIGHT SPORTS?????????

Real quality parts.

You should get some more sound than the stock muffler. If the muffler is rusty/holes in it the new one will sound way better.

Take some time and polish it up. Steel wool, scotch write pads, Mother's aluminum polish, and maybe a buffer is all on point. May have to use a razor blade to scrape that melted plastic off the tip. Stainless exhausts can clean up really good and really look awesome on the car.

I like the sound.. not much louder than the stock muffler.. didn’t change the tone much. Just a fuller sound.. But the higher rpm you go the better and more sound it gives! Subtle looks and sporty. Cleaned it up a bit.. I like it! Better than the hks super drager!

You also probably dropped 20-30 pounds of weight. Looks really good!

It's cool to have an uncommon cat-back like that too.
