Good idea. Then you'll be able to tell the difference between someone saying a car looked good and someone saying we shouldn't be discussing the performance of the car in the contest because if we saw it, we'd all wish it was ours.

Jim, Jason (artguy) was simply saying that Jason (my old roommate, boosted rotor) has a very tastefully modded and clean car. Everyone who sees it is impressed. It is not some poorly running ugly piece of ****, as some of the neanderthals in this thread have implied. No need to go Defcon 5 .

Yes, and therefore people shouldn't be criticizing its performance. I know what he was saying.

I didn't see anyone state that it was a piece of ****. I saw people state that last minute changes usually end up coming back to bite you in the ***, and that's probably what cost him a better showing in the competition.

I think the point that's being missed is that I'm not criticizing the car's performance or its appearance. I'm criticizing the competition.

well, i apologize for creating such a heated debate......i hope that artguy didn't give you guys the wrong impression about me, but i didn't build it to make anyone jealous, if you rode in it that would change your mind as it is quite loud and stinky and the momo's do your back zero justice, no power steering, no heat, no air, no radio balh blah blah.....i meant no ill will towards anyone on here.....

I'm confused, was your car in the Ultimate Looks Like A Street Car Challenge or the USCC? Either way it's a ******* crazy setup and I was honestly shocked to see the car place where it did. Better luck next time

so i got this issue of SCC. 10th does seem harsh, espeically considering the amount of investment into this car. SCC seem to state that the clutch Diff was a bad choice? skid pad and race seem to reflect this? i can also understand that peak power would be low, but i dont see why power delivery ranked 9. was the turbo too large? im not trying to beat a dead horse here, but this is probably new to alot of us still.

He stepped up to the plate to represent, that count's a lot. Of course I wished they did better but he tried and that's good enough for me. You got my respect!
