spoiler gasket - where to find one?

Hey everyone, this is my first time on here and I think it's awesome that there is an rx7 community like this.

I don't actually own one (though I wish I did), but I have a friend that does - it's a '95 twin turbo.

This is his problem: The gasket that goes between the rear wing (the spoiler) and the body has pretty much completely deteriorated. The gasket is just a flat about 3 millimeters thick piece of foam that for arguement sake is 3 inches by 5 inches that is "closed cell" which means that it will not absorb water it will repel it. The problem is that he can't get the original foam gasket from Mazda appearantly it comes stuck to the wing and is not a part you can buy separately. Anyway does any one out there know of a place we can buy some foam like this? We have no idea.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Oh and yes I already tried a search and I didn't find anyone with a similar problem...

Check out the parts pdf files on MazdaFormance. They list separate part numbers for the spoiler gaskets...

I got the gaskets from the local Mazda dealer but it did take some time. Also Jason at JT-IMPORTS can get them also.
