I realize there are other threads relating to my question but I've never been able to get a straight answer.

Has anyone ever put Recaro Pole Positions in their FD? They're quite similar to the RZ/Spirit R seats in appearance. Could I just buy a set of Pole Positions and rails and have them fit?

Sorry about that, I did read what you wrote correctly but when I typed it out it came out all wrong. My point is that if someone just says they bought from Ramy, it doesn't really mean much unless you or the seller actually asked Ramy himself. Know what I mean? Saying that you bought something who got something from Ramy, or any other vendor on the forums isn't saying much and it really doesn't sound like a yes or no. If the seller did claim that you were supposed to get recaro rails, I would hope he at least has the decency to help you out with the rails or at the very least, you can return the seats to him minus some shipping expenses.

Smokey, I think there is a thread in the interior/exterior forum about what seats fit. Are pole positions similar to SPGs? I think I remember reading that the SPGs rub against the tranny tunnel or something. You should check out the thread though. It has alot of info there.

I had gone thru that thread before and I remember people running the Profil SPG but not pole positions, but I'll take another gander.

Supernaut, yeah man I hear you. now I do understand why he sold the pair to me much much cheaper. He sold the pair as is. It's my fault that I didn't know about the rails. Overall I don't think I would return. The seats stay. I'm very very happy with them. I may come up with something to get it to the high I need. :-D

Guys, this is the tech section not the for sale section. Speeddup has already been PMed and posted the (very nice minty) seats in the appropriate section.

I got mine from Bryan. Awesome guy to deal with. Too bad it didn't fit on my car ....My new tranny took too much room for the seat to clear.

All of the Spirit R/RZ recaros recline as far as I know. I can't confirm if the SP had reclining ones to.
