Speedometer stopped working

My speedomter stopped working, but the tach and odometer are still working. Iunderstand that i have a speed sensor on the 93 FD or it could be the cruise control cable whic is more likely and how do I go about fixing it?

Check to see if you're getting a CEL if you do then it's most likely the speed sensor and the only way to fix is to replace.

I had a problem such as your but my tach wasn't working, and sometimes my speedometer would stop working also, It was caused by rust that was blocking the electrical signals to the tach. I ended up replacing the speedometer with a new one.
