Yeah, check out this vid. I was brake boosting as we rolled before the race, so you can hear it pretty loudly (barely can hear the guy honk).

Thanks for the vid man. Nice kill

As for the external WG...I'm not quite sure what I'm listening for. Is it what I'm mistaking for a BOV w/ an interesting whistle (not really a psssssst sound like my SSQV, but more of a fluttering sound?)

That flutter is the BOV, I have an old school HKS SS. The external WG, kinda sounds like running an NA rotary with open header. That's the best I can describe it.

Damn, the HKS sounds a thousand times better than the RB, RB actually sounds like a fartcan. Wish I could hear the HKS at WOT though.

i still think from the HKS website with the Lancer. the HKS hiper sounds the best exhaust that ive heard ever. wish they had a porsche type exhaust. (love that porsche high reving type sound.)

I assume going through the gears in traffic the single tip will get pretty loud without the car actually going any fast(before boost). Like the Hondas cruise, loud, slow and obnoxious. I can imagine how the single would scream at WOT, because the RB screams pretty good under load.

thanks for the vids.

O M G. Have you heard what the Porsche Carrera GT sounds like when it's being revved? Sounds like a freakin F1 racecar

Well, actually it stays pretty quiet under boost. You can't hear the exhaust much, but you can def. hear the DRONE inside the car (again, w/ full exhaust. Mike's vid is w/ a resonated DP). Once you start to boost, you can hear the tone change. It's very distinct. To the point that say, if I'm on the highway, cruising in 5th, and I give it a bit of gas and boost a bit, you can hear the tone change as I go into boost, then once I come down from boost to vaccum, the tone changes again lol. It's very entertaining

Well, I'm the complete opposite then. I love Greddy products, from my boost cotroller, my pullies, to my intercooler. I think I have over 8 Greddy products on my car.
Also how do you plan on swaping out exhaust when you dyno the car? I tried changing my exhaust when it was hot and almost got 3rd degree burns. You're gonna have to wait quite some time for it to cool off and then switch them out.

well there will be another single turbo Fd there so it takes about an hr atleast for tuning so there will be a break and then i can use a wet sponge to cool off the CB
