Mike, you run a cat, right? Cuz from what I've read on the forum, the HKS CF Ti is pretty quiet w/ a cat. I have a full open exhaust, so it's INCREDIBLY loud. The drone is so audible that I have trouble making cellphone calls, let alone speaking to a passenger I don't care tho, because the sound at WOT is AMAZING I'm gonna have to make a clip of it.

U got full exhaust in Cali, aka Smog Central? Interesting... So what's the point of the RB? Ditch that junx lol. How you like the Ti?

Man, that Racing Beat has as much bend to it before it hits the muffler as my **** does! Almost 90 degrees! (It's hard to **** that way)

It would be nice to hear RB duals on a single FD, I am looking forward to someone hosting the clips.

But on another note, am I the only one who has some difficulty comprehending rotoboy's posts?

any opinions on the super dragger?

 

I just noticed that as well, and I am suprised at how raspy the exhaust note is with the carbon TI. Since its adverstised as being more of a deep tone, I'd say my Apexi GT cat-back is deeper at idle.

 

I had the ORIGINAL (gigantic can) HKS Super Dragger for the longest time...loved the exhaust. Not too loud, sounds great at idle. Deep throaty. But the CF Ti is a totally diff beast

Yea it's def. very raspy at idle. It's borderline annoying. And the drone at idle is incredibly overwhelming (again, this is w/ a MP). But at WOT (which Mike should be getting a clip of), it's an incredibly deep "scream." I was just tellin Mike, it sounds like pure POWER. I freakin LOVE it.

The HKS Carbon Ti doesn't sound even close to anything raspy. It is deep and loud.

The Power Getter Type RS on the RX-7 sounds very similar to the HKS... although personally I think I'd go with the Legalis R (not loud, but still has a nice idle and you can definately hear the rotary sound)...

But personally I think the best-sounding car on that page is the Roaster (Miata) with the Legalis R and the headers... drooltastic and not even that loud.
