I am losing my High Flow and M2 Dual in favor of the MP and HKS Carbon Ti....I think my single should be allowed to flow as well as it can instead of getting bottled up in my exhaust.

for some people it's not just about the sound, noise level also has something to do with it. If I was stricly driving the car on a race track then yes I would prefer the HKS, but for street use knowing how cops are with import cars the RB's is a better choice. Anyway as soon as the wastegate open's you get the full sound as long as you have it vented.

i got the silencer for the HKS Ti exhaust and it really helps reduce the sound of the exhaust by a lot for daily driving. it's much more bearable now commuting in it. But at the track i just remove it

Hey...you got a part # for that silencer? Cuz the ones on HKS' website specifically say "do not fit HKS Carbon Ti Muffler" except for the Supra CF Ti. Is it 3306-RA074, the black 120mm universal silencer? http://www.hksusa.com/products/?id=1364

Thanks, cuz I gotta worry about po-po too

If I was just driving for race, then I would run an open pipe.

I have the racing beat dual tip, with a RX 7 store resonated midpipe, and it is actually right at the legal limit (94Db) That is with a single turbo.

If you **** around out here in Cali. you will get pulled over, popped, and heavily fined.

I like my rb single tip but i wish it would scream at WOT like the HKS does. As a daily driven car i don't think i'll go with the HKS unless i get another Daily Driver. I think i'd like to get the RE Amemiya Twin dolphin tip; It's kinda inbetween the two.

6 months ago the Ti cost me about 280

got this rb for 250

i love the best of both worlds

i wanna see how it does on the dyno tho

Rb is kinda growing on me

i thought it would be too stock looking but the tips are actually larger

heres some pics

RB

HKS TI

i love how the hks angles out, but i love the rb for its sleek stock look

damn im spoiled

I KNOW that wasn't new, right? Cuz I got mine about a year ago, and it ran me $400 new, with a hookup (list price is $500).

I like the RB a lot more, not a big fan of the canister type exhausts even though that one sounds pretty good.

I actually did the swich from a RB to the Greddy Ti. I traded with a member on this board. The Ti is A LOT lighter then the Racing Beat. It has a deeper tone to it, but it's a bit louder. I don't miss the RB. I'm also single, so loudness isn't really that big of a deal, since my waste gate dumps to the atmosphere (much lounder then the exhaust).

Hey do you have a sound clip of that by any chance? I've actually never heard what an external wastegate dumping to the atmosphere sounds like...
