sorry guys another question

it seems like to me after i do a oil change not even 600 or so miles later my dip stick always read empty so i'm taking it i have a serious problem? theres no oil under the car or drip stains or anything but can it burn that much oil quickly?

our cars are supposed to consume oil but not that much..

are you sure you are putting the right amount when you do your oil change?

4 quarts right boss? i used 5w30 castrol and mazda oem oil filter when can i meet you up in jerz?

i would read the owners manual to make sure..i cant think off the top of my head exactly how much..its around 4 quarts but i go judging by the dipstick..

and i believe they recommend using 10w-30..

and you frequent jersey alot?

idk, you tell me..maybe at an etown event?? theres one beginning of november..

but about mid to end november, the FD goes bye bye for the winter..so i only have about a month to play with it

i use 4 qts..havnt had a problem with it being to low after refill..actually dipstick reads full after im done...my .02.

Do you have duel oil coolers (R1)?Iif so they take more oil than the base or touring. Just throwing it out there.

I'm around 4.5 as well with the remainder I keep it toped up till the 3k oil change, depends on my foot but most of the remainder is gone in the 3k time period.

I had that problem for a while when I first got mine...then I started letting it warm up for about 5-10 minutes before driving off, haha. Not saying that's your problem, just an idea.
