Check your wiring to the starter. That could be bad. Or it could be a bad relay. Or, the starter could just be dead. The little sprocket could be busted. Well, I don't know wat i'm talkin' about.

If you can pull the starter out, take it to your local auto parts store for free testing. After eliminating that then test power to starter, relays, fuses and lastly the starter (key) switch itself could be bad but I don't know of any way to test it so eliminate everything else. Are you sure the alternating is recharging the battery? Did you test for min of 11volts?

I'm a CF and poop smith
do the starter button mod illustrated at iluvmyrx7.com to get it going if after testing the starter, the starter is still good.
P.S. unhook battery befroe removing starter, you could jump your starter that way and run yourself over (i almsot did )

Its the ignition switch I think, or the clutch switch...

Is there any way I can like... jump the ignition switch?

ok when you disconnect the harness some wires are going to the switch others are going to the car. take the connector on the car side of things and jump the 2 teminals together on the car side of the wiring. think of it as a loop

Okay,
I'm going to my g/f's but when I get back I'll attempt to bypass the clutch switch as instructed. Now, if this does not work and isnt successful at activating the starter, my next place to check is the ignition switch.
Now from what i've been reading, there is no way to really fix the ignition switch??? How do I fix the ignition switch??? hmmm

I had the exact same symptoms (everything worked, but absolutely nothing from the starter). Not saying that it's definitely your problem as well, but better then buying a new battery (a special ordered sealed Genesis no less @ $100) and then finding out that the loose wire was all it was.

Quick easy starter test: Crawl underneath car, hit starter with hammer. Hit it again. No, really hit it this time. Then try to start the car. If it works, your starter is on its way out. If it doesn't, try elsewhere.

Either I didnt do the clutch bypass trick correctly, or my ignition switch is fucked... I got a paper clip and connected the two whte male plastic pieces. I really dunno how the the hell to do it...
I see a wire that connects to a silver box at the top of the clutch pedal, and i disconnectd that, and then there is a larger male white connector that hooks up farther behind the clutch pedal, unhooked it and put a paper clip in one of its holes.... I dunno if this is right or not, somone please correct me?
