Sometimes FD can relieve stress...

When work gets crazy, as it has been for months now, looking out my office window usually relieves a bit of stress when I see this...

So I can recall the times when I am doing this!

My FD relieves stress more when I am driving it, than looking at it. For most of us, I think the FD causes more stress than it relieves

Well, I don't drive it to work everyday...only when I feel like it plus I only work 7 miles away from my house.

The track is Streets of Willow, the FD is such a fun car to track with.

I think I agree with Adam's analogy the most. My car causes quite a bit of stress

I guess everyone's situation is different. My wife has been sick for a while now with many trips to the ER. I don't know how many times now or to how many hospitals. I've had to stop working at the office and moved everything to the house so I can be home to take care of her. My daily trips to the pharmacy are routine now. We have two children, my daughter is 7 and my son 4. It has been more than difficult...beyond what I can tell my family and friends. But there is one thing that helps me deal with this. There is one thing that takes me away from the fact that my wife is sick and I can't fix her. At night, when I've given her the last injections of the day and the kids are safe and asleep, I go to my garage and work on the RX7. My wife bought it for me in secret and gave it to me on Christmas day, 2006. I had no idea. What a magnificent suprise. Now, wether it is just to clean a bracket, fantasize about what mod I want to do to it, or just sit in a chair and stare at it, it seems to help me escape my reality. It helps me deal with the fact that my wife is sick. Right now my FD is my therapist. Stress relief for me? Yes.

Hmmm...what I am trying to say is, when work is crazy and being ultra stressful, instead of plowing my zen garden to take some stress off, all I have to do is to look out my office window and the FD makes me just a tad happier...

anyway, sbnrx7 - best of luck to your wife...and a surprise FD? What a woman!
