Don't pull the line off...just relieve It from the Fuel Tank Fillup Lid. Fini!

If the fuel pump is really gone....why would there be any pressure?

Is this because youre flooding your engine??

Take your fuel injection Fuse out and crank your car a few times to push the fuel out into the exhaust..Unflooding the motor..
Also i have a few friends who have a switch for the fuel injection to turn it off before turning the key off..Letting excess fuel pressure to leave the lines before the engine stops..

Well if it is then here a few tips i came up with and also at the end a link to your problems..hope this helps..

Sometimes during start up you will bog the engine flooding it due to the rich fuel mixture most cars have for the warm up during cold starts to ensure steady warm up of the motor..(lean fuel mixture would be hotter and bad for the engine, causing metal ot heat up too fast and expand) well if you fire ur car up and it dosent start usually that happens..

Fixes
Soemtimes this is cause by fouled\dirty or worn spark plugs causing hard start up..Make sure your plugs are good. Also just go to this link if im right about your problems =) thank me later after you start your car =)

pulling the fill cap doesn't relive the pressure in the lines LOL..

and his engine is not flooded....

my q is the same as hailers

just unplug the power to the pump and crank over the engine afew times and it'll lower whatever is there.

you'll still get a bit of a mess though.

I was suggesting this as a just-In-case the Fuel Pump Is still working. I mean, the question was steered to relieving the lines and hardly no mention of the Fuel Pump not working was made.

How Is the Fuel Pump not working?
