Something backwards, vacuum under boost?

Does anyone have previous experience in this? My idle is hunting from 1k-2k and when it revs it shows vacuum and when the engine lets off the throttle it shows boost. The oil pressure is in tune with the rpm's but what the heck is up with boost?

Make sure its not your boost gauge going bonkers. It seems the laws of physics would govern whats happening to you as impossible. Then again, its an RX7, so you never know.

Are you sure that you have the boost gauge connected to the correct vacuum port?

Did you just recently install this gauge?
If it's an electronic gauge, then you might have confused a pair of wires. If it's mechanical, then I don't know what to tell you.
