What is this pipe??

It has been a good while since lifting a finger to work on the 7, besides driving it daily.

What is that large pipe running off the elbow on the firewall side? It is about 1" diameter. Not the small TB coolant line, the other larger one off the back of the elbow itself. I am trying to figure out if there are any extra holes that I can mount my intake temp sensor in with out drilling the factory parts.

Thanks,

Raj

that is for your AWS. I'm guessing that you have had it eliminated sometime in the past. Do you have that tube plugged or something? Usually people leave the black tube connected and plug it when they get a greddy elbow.

like everyone else said its your AWS. you can either plug it, or if you want to keep using it you can do what I did and use a breather along with short hose. you shouldn't keep that open to the atmosphere.
