You using CF cloth?? Is it full or layed on top of alum.? You just molding it and then cutting out the scoops later? What are you using to mold them?
BTW.. very nice.. very very nice work.

actual work time for hood, about an hour (much more for wait time for the epoxy to set up). for the cf lips, i have no idea but much longer then the hood!
im using CF cloth, what other type is there its a wet lay up, i dont got the oven/money for dry carbon right now. its also full cf, single layer (can you say light) 25k25k with 3-4 layers for reinforcement in certine areas (i dont know of any scoot hood which comes in aluminum)
I gotta cut the scoups out later in anycase, (im just too damn lazy to do it right now :p) this is just my dori hood; I can now afford to crash/smash this hood now hehe (this hood is probally as expensive as some drift cars! It does not mean that they are not good drift cars though, I know a couple of guys which can get very sideways at over 60mph in cars which cost under 1.5k )
for the scoot hood, im using a scoot hood as a mold
for the 99spec lips, im using blown's 99spec origials to make a mold and then am using the mold of the 99specs to make another mold, what you see above

so all you did was put CF cloth over already existing hood? What's so hard about that? That 99 lip, to me looks, i don't know, ugly. It kind of looks fat and stuff. I'm just not fan of CF, that's all.

I think what you are seeing as fat is the mold and not the part, but I could be wrong. It may be that the picture is a shot of CF laid over the original part as a means of creating the mold. Not sure though.
I guess if your not a fan of CF there really isn't much good for you to contribute to the thread. Seems you are pretty negative.

The 99-spec lips look great!
I read in a previous thread that you can also do color CF & Kevlar as well. Would these be a different price? What is the expected turn-around time frame & price point?
Very nice work....
