Some questions

Alright well i just installed the pettit tkt intake and removed the air pump and installed underdrive pulleys the alternator, tension one, and the motor one and now my car idles very ruff and it will not hold a charge.....

i was wondering if my alternator is going bad or because the alternators pulley is larger now it is not being spun enough to charge/keep the battery charge or should that not even really make that much of a difference

because the last 2 days ive charged the car the whole night and then by the end of the day it almost doesnt even start because its lost the charge

idk give me some of you thoughts

thanks

chad

Rough idle after removing the airpump is common if your still on the stock ECU. Do a search for airpump removal.
Have you had your battery tested? I think Advance Auto and AutoZone will test the whole charging system for free. It might be something simple.

That sounds like a dead battery than anything else.

Get your alternator checked - Autozone for example will do it for free.

Were you having any trouble with the battery before the Pettit under drive pullies ? If the new battery is doing the same thing as the old battery then you alternator isn't doing it job (have any idea what voltage the alt. is putting out) when your driving ? If you had a problem with you alt. before the pulley kit then it will ge worse with the under drive especially if you do allot of around town as opposed to highway driving I've found mine falls off (voltage) below 1k rpm with the under drive
