You'll most likely need to get an aftermarket seat to get you lower to the floorboard a little, and then an aftermarket smaller steering wheel with a spacer.

Small suggestion: You can remove the foot rest on the left side (and cover the fuses/wires). It frees up some extra space so your feet aren't so crowded in there...

First off, the height thing has been documented to death. You can search for some info.

I'm 6'6", and fit just fine in my car. I have an R package with no sunroof - I'm uncomfortable in a car with a sunroof, but have been on many long car trips in my car with no fatigue.

One thing that helped me bigtime was adjusting the clutch pedal for a shorter throw. That gave my left leg a lot more room -

Also, I typically drive with the seat one click up from full back. It's a little more cramped leg-wise, but my arm position is way better.

After spending 2 days in my RX7 to bring it across the country I thought my legs would never stop hurting. My MBC mounted at my right knee wasnt helping. I think a steering wheel would do me the most good, providing more ability to adjust your leg position. Im skeptical of how much the seats will help.

That is why an aftermarket smaller steering wheel with a spacer is in the suggestion. People with more height in their legs, find their knees hitting all sorts of areas (mostly the bottom of the steering wheel). As Dale mentioned, moving the seat too far back doesn't give you the proper arm length in most cases. Adding a spacer with the aftermarket steering wheel typically solves both problems.

I brought it out here. It was stationed in Virginia where I used to live and I brought it out here for ***** and giggles and because I was planning a more permanent residence out here. This was about the end of January. My friend Mike and I drove across the country in 51 hours(saw the worlds largest ball of twine and ate at whitecastle!). Now Ive been readmitted to my university in South Carolina so I get to drive it back across although ill be solo and plan on taking a week this time.

Custom seat brackets that will lower you to the floor you will also need an after market seat. I am using a after market wheel with hub and spacer. Makes a big difference. I am 6'2
so I fit ok to begin with.

It's VERY hard to get an aftermarket seat lower than the stock seat. The stock seat is damn low to begin with.

BTW, cruise control is a big helper . On long trips, it just kills my knee if I have to hold the gas pedal. But, this is the case on any car, even my Nissan van.
