Example:
275/40-17 Hoosier R3SO4, diameter: 25.2"
275/40-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, diameter: 25.9"

This is an extreme example, but I hope it illustrates the point. Also, tire wear could be an equally significant (or even more significant) factor, especially if the tire in question has a deep tread when new.

Could be weaker springs on the lower FD (?) Also, were they measured with the same amount of fuel in the Tank?

So anyways I re-torqued my entire rear end with the car loaded (which was completely ***) and it pretty much made very little difference. My car is lighter than stock and the rear tires have no treads left (I don't drive it, so save the rain comments).

I'm not too concerned - coilovers will go on it anyways.

[QUOTE=clayne]So anyways I re-torqued my entire rear end with the car loaded (which was completely ***)

Meaning what exactly? That it does not matter to have the car loaded or not? Or that is was a complete pain in the *** to do without a proper lift?

It really does make a difference in most cases. If not directly to ride height then at least bushing wear and action/performance.just things I have noticed over the years.

Meaning that it was a complete pain in the *** to do in my driveway.

Anyways it pretty much happened after replacing the rear pillow ***** so the problem isn't really an actual problem, per say, but just how the car should be stock.
