smoking issue

just did a new turbo swap hoping to fix my smoking issue (which it did for 2 days). 2nd night the line to my hks bov blows and i limp it home 5 minutes. i get a new line and on the 3rd day i start the car and everything is fine, i let it warm up and it starts a smoke show. after awhile of changing plugs which i had on hand and checking the inter cooler and throttle body elbow for oil it’s fine. but i notice a oil puddle under a exhaust leak just dripping out. i’m guessing it’s an oil control ring. any ideas ?. it’s a stock motor and stock turbos.

Definitely sounds like turbine side leak. There were no restrictions anywhere on the cartridge drains/no kinked return lines?

all the lines and their connections are dry. turbos have less then 400 miles so i’ll be bummed if another pair is trashed.

Assuming your last pair of turbos were blown AND oil was coming out of them, it's possible what you're seeing is residual from them. Not sure how extensive of a cleaning you did during the swap but you'd be surprised how long residual oil takes to completely burn off inside of a cast manifold.
