here in Jersey(at least where I live)you get ticketed for being UGLY!Theres nothing else to do around here i guess...

Yea Jeff, I've heard how crazy it is. Mods have to be CARB legal, and the only two aftermarket companies I know that make such products are HKS and Greddy. And even then, the selection is very limited. And I've heard about the smog referres, the random testing, the roadside sampling, etc. It's insane. Prob is, I see Northern VA nipping at your heels... the situation is getting worse by the day. Be it traffic, citations, or mods. A few months ago, I had a cop pull me over, harrass me about a few minor violations I had (exhaust, no front tags, etc), and he threatened to impound my car the next time. I was like whaa?? For simple tickets? It's a damn power trip I tell ya...
