Exclamation Smoke from under the hood....(PLEASE HELP)

I drove it pretty hard down the road and when I came back I could see smoke coming from the left side of the engine, maybe two inches right of the downpipe. A week ago I had my suspension put on and when it was on the lift I could see where one of the turbo's was leaking externally (98k on turbos). Every once and a while I could see and tad bit of smoke and smell it when I ran it hard. I was wondering did I blow something? After I was done racing, maybe went 2 miles and when I let off the gas it has a bad withdraw( all most like a flat.) Turbos still pulling hard...but when I got home I just lefted the hood to cool things off.... what in the hell did i do.... or did I just pushing the leaking turbo a little too hard?

Lightbulb

It's probably the leaky oil burning off the hot engine.

First off check the rubber coupler that comes off the turbo Y-Pipe for possible seepage of oil. Its normal to have a little bit of oil in your intake piping maybe thats where the oil is dripping down from and onto your down pipe, that is if the clamp holding it down on the y-pipe is loose. Tighten the clamps and clean the area with carb cleaner (with the engine cold). Try that first and then post your results.

White smoke signals?

Check your air pump. When mine burned the belt, I saw white smoke from the hood.

I got the same problem...I could see oil around the coupler at the point of the y-pipe IC pipe connection. You could see oil drips on the hot pipes down low

You should get underneath the car and have a look at everything and report back to us. Your turbos could be the lil pissing sons-a-bitches. I'm getting a misty black smoke from down underneath the air hoses. My rear and only rear turbo compressor is soaked in oil. Don't know if it is in fact the turbo itself, but only getting under there and inspecting will tell.
