my rx7 is sending a lot of black smoke and the the rpm of the car is always above 2000... can anyone tell me what is causing this probleam ?
The car is about 57000 miles
can anyone help me ?

Have you checked your boost sensor hose? It's located next to the firewall, driver's side (top right corner of engine bay). It's a little black box that is labeled "Boost Sensor" respectively. There's a hose underneath it that can pop off. I had your exact same symptoms. Except, mine was idling rather rough. Hope that helps. BTW, make sure you use the "Search" function at the top right of the page before you ask any questions. Certain "A-holes" will get paroxysms of pleasure nailing you about not doing the search.
