This has happend to me 2 times. It usually involves when I am in 1st gear from a complete stop, I push the clutch in and rev too high in 1st gear and smoke comes into the passenger side, to the right of the shifter.

Is there anything that might specifically cause this. Its not something I normally do, but I stalled in an intersection and tried to get out of the way the quickest I could before my car got smashed, so I reved to high I guess and a little amount of smoke came in the cabin from the right side of the center unit where the shifter is.

Anyone wanna take a shot?

 

Did you drop your ciggerette? If you slipped the clutch it might be from that or maybe you have an exhaust leak.
