smelling gas after WOT

The smell of gas is coming from the back or under neath the car. So far I haven't seen no leaks.

i'm on long island too. had the same problem last year. search on fuel smell and you will find that there are a few causes - leaking fuel pulsation dampener, leaking fuel pressure regulator, leaking injectors and check valves that need to be replaced. Either way, you need to have the car looked at before it goes up in flames.

Just b/c you don't see fuel on the floor as a leak doesn't mean it ain't leaking.

This is also a symptom of a bad LIM gasket, but lets hope that isn't the problem.

Have you just recently tuned/adjusted your car? I smell gas after I go WOT, but mine comes out the tail pipe. Runs way too rich. At least I hope thats the problem. After hearing the other ideas I am going to check those out.
Good Luck
