Small Oil pan leak... pasenger side motor mount.
This just started maybe a week ago. The engine has been rebuilded recently and i just did single conversion not too long ago... I noticed that it leaks just a little bit, not a lot, but it's there.
Now is there a way one of those stop leak fluids or some other **** could maybe fix this? I'm not going to remove the damn engine again just to fix this ****... Almost every FD i saw had a leak there eventually.
So did anyone have any luck with fixing this by using some kind of chemical or some stuff?
As i said earlier, it's really not a big leak... maybe couple of drops... and that's probably over a week or so since the car is not driven a lot.
Thanks

Hey how is it going? I hate to be the one to say it but, one of the only ways to prevent that is with a pan brace, or something like that(Gotham Racing), and it is just going to get worse, and with you making more power now well? (That is just going to add to the stress the pan takes)I had the same thing happen to me and you have to pull the motor, because the oil spots are just going to get bigger!!

I did a (so far) successful fix just for such a minor leak.
Drained the oil from the pan to elimnate the leak source and waited a day or so for the residula oil to leak out. Than, I used some aggressive solvent cleaner to clean the whole area around the motor mount.
Immediately following the cleaning I used a drill punch to make small indents into the sorrounding area and spread some "Right Stuff" by Permatex onto the area of leak pluse the surrounding area. I actually had to repeat it twice as the leak that I thought originated at the motor mount was actually coming from multiple minor sources around the oil pan. The Right Stuff adheres better to metal than anything I've eve seen and since, I have not a drop of leak from the area.
The oil pan is realy a peace of crap, too thin and lacking reinforcement grooves near the notor mount. This design allows it to deform when the motor mounts are tightenend and flexed druing regular use. It definitely can use a pan brace, when ever the next convenient time is to install one.
BTW - my leaks came on a reman engine with less than 1000 miles on it.
Good luck

Thanks for replies guys.

you don't need to pull the engine to re-seal the oil pan Simply lower the subframe...there used to be a dimple method used along the rim of the pan I read about a year or two ago. I am sure you could search and find that info.
