Arrow Single tip exhaust recommendation

I am helping a friend on choosing an exhaust (catback). **New**

Per his request, he does not want something that is ridiculously loud.
-Something that has a deep tone at low rpms, and opens up at WOT.
-Does NOT want the stock look.
-Does not prefer a cannon exhaust, something bigger than the single tip RacingBeat would be nice.

As many have probably recommended the Racing Beat dual tip which suits his needs.

But he does not want a dual tip.

Please input your advice, it will be gladly appreciated. And if possible, link me to the site where he can purchase it.

I am not shure of your friends budget but the Ganador titanium exhaust sounds like the perfect choice. It has a big single tip oval canister and sounds amazing. I have had so many compliments about this exhaust. Heres a link for the thread that i bought the exhaust from, it has pics.

I am fairly shure Bryan can get you one, susposdly there are only two in the us.

lol you left yourself with soooooo many options now.

Are you sure your "friend" wants to be that picky?

Cant look stock but no cannon type.

Cant be loud but has a nice sound at WOT.

Likes the RB single tip but wants something a bit bigger. lol

How about a PFS catback?

Budget? I know he said new, but any chance you could swing him to a used exhaust?

I posted a video recently of my car at idle with the Greddy SP, not the prettiest tip out there but is quiet and has one of the deeper sounds at WOT. If he is in no rush I will post vids later in the week of some WOT pulls.

^+1 for Greddy SP. . It's a rolled single tip. I think it's better looking than most of the large bore singles out there, but nobody will confuse it with being stock.
And it meets your friend's sound criteria too....deep idle and outstanding WOT sound...IMO better than RB DT. Additionally it's first class materials and construction (all stainless) and flows really well. Downside is that's it's alittle heavier than some.

For a single tip, I prefer the HKS Carbon Ti:

Try and find a PFS exhaust.

It's really one of the best ever made for the money. 18 lbs, all 3" stainless, and doesn't have that awkwardly-hung fart can look of many Japanese exhausts.

+1, I agree. For a single, I liked the look of the PFS best on my car. It has a lower, rumbly tone than most at idle (e.g., V8-esque) and practically no restriction.

PFS can be kinda loud, especially if you're running a high flow or a midpipe.

I think my car is loud and i have the stock cat.

If the tanabe med touring's tip wasnt bigger than 4", i would have gotten that. Its nice and subtle. Almost what the FD should sound like from factory.

Thanks for the input guys. I finally got a chance to check my thread!!! Awesome, I think I convinced him with the RacingBeat dual tip after a long talk haha!

But I would like to hear that Greddy SP DjSeven mentioned earlier.
