Signals Don't Work

Well my turn signals don't work and the cause appears to be wear on what I believe to be the main wiring harness. This happened because the tire (being that its lowered with big rims) wore through panel above the driverside front tire. There is serious wear like wire stripping but no breaks in the wires. What would be the easiest form of repair on this? Or should I just replace the entire set of wires?

heat shrink them then electrical tape.
to replace that harness would be pricey.
and if the lights dont work after you fix the bare wires, replace the fuse.

No sorry man no Ivan here.

I will try that, maybe it will help with my starting problem. I've replaced battery, and everything else just it won't start unless being jumped or push started. Runs perfect once running but for some horrible reason just doesn't want to start. It sounds like its just not getting enough juice to do the trick.

charge the battery 13v before you turn the key
test the alternator
test the starter
check your grounds
do a compression test

Carefully tape up all exposed wiring and re-distribute the wiring harness in that area to avoid the tire contact. Raise the vehicle back up some, you don't want the tires running thru the wheel liner. Yes, "slammin" the ride may look cool, but you don't when sitting on the side of the road broke down !

I've had the compression test recently. I am thinking it has to be a ground or possibly my aftermarket ignition amplifier is acting up. I'm gonna redo alot of the wiring and I think its gonna help alot, over the years there have been alot of different setups electronicaly in the car and it has turned into an electrical nightmare.

As far as raising the car I have the Illumina Struts on it, what would be the easiest method for raising it. I want to put a new coilover setup on it but I have other thing to adress at the moment. What would be the most cost effective method of raising it back up enough to eleviate the rubbing? Thanks for help so far guys, I have searched for months but nothing seems to really equal my problem.

My car was lowered with bad offset rims same thing happened.

Removed fender liner. Undid the wrapping and resodered appropriate wires. Re-wrapped with electrical tape, put it all in protective wrapped and wrapped it all with electrical tape. Passed inspection and has been working ever since.

Thats just what I'm gonna do for the wires, I don't think there are any breaks in any of them so I think I got off lucky. I'm just trying to finds some nice springs now that won't be to low. I have the tokico Illumina Struts so just finding a good set of springs should save me the price of the coilovers.

The car seems to start now, but its very hard to get it to fire up the first time, after that it starts pretty easy. I'm thinking i just have to redo the f/a map on it. Its been race ported so obviously its hard to start but would be nice to just get it to fire up more consistantly. Thanks for the help again
