Shift Mechanism Oil

After I do a transmission swap and am ready to put the shifter back on, what kind of oil should I use in the change control case? I know you only need about 80-95cc but I don't know what kind.

I am by no means sure about this but I would use the snthetic gear oil that you filled the rest of the transmission with. I don't really think it matters much, but that stuff would probably be the best bet.

I use redline MTL. Just fill the tranny normally. Do not fill any extra for the new shifter. You may want to wipe a thin layer on the new shifter so it has a little lubricant on it when it goes in.
