Lightbulb share your wisdom on turbos

My turbos recently grenaded and I need advice on whether to rebuild, buy reman., or possibly used. I am positive the rebuild will be extensive because the turbos now make a high pitch noise, meaning the are probably unbalanced or hitting the housing. Thanks in advance for any help

Boostable

Do you still have any boost? If so what is it 10-8-10 etc.? High pitched whine will probabley not mean the housing is being hit by the compressor blades. More likely a bad bearing but not likely both turbo's unless the oil passages are plugged. Rebuild is a good way to go about $150 each turbo if you do it yourself and you get new bearings.
