Serious Problem???

Ok well i took my Fd out for the first time today in chicagos fine whether that it is having and once the car gets warm the car idles like complete crap, and it is only boosting like 5 psi in first but when am i on roll in 2nd it hits 10 no problem. Also it has mad hesitation. I am completely stuck and check all teh vaccum lines and they all appear to be solidly connected.

i forgot to mention when the car was warm it was idling like 500 or less and it died on me a couple times.

I had something like that. It was the vacum line by the firewall. It was to do with fuel pressure or something. i cant remeber

if u havent had the vacuum hoses done yet, i'd check them again, i've had mine popped off twice and took me quite a while to find them taking things apart too

the hoses were done seriouosly like 1000 miles ago. brand new high temp sili hoses

I've heard that sili hoses tends to expand from the heat and they can easly pop out so if they were not tie-wrapped, I'd check those out.

Good silicone hoses shouldn't pop off. They should be a chore to remove .

I'd also change plugs if you haven't done so in some time. The vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator is a good one to double-check.

Yeah i think that was the line that popped off mine Dale
The line to the fuel pressure regulator
Made it run like a bag of **** and i think it was dangerous to not have it working

Have you checked the pre-cat for restriction? MIne was doing some very similar things. After checking everything about a million times, i found that the pre-cat was clogged. If you have about 50k to 60k on your ride, then it's time for it to go!
