Separating FD Door to Front Harness Connection

It may be common knowledge how to separate the door and front harnesses, but it definitely is not intuitive looking at it. The FSM doesn't give much help and there's not much on-line. Since I figured it out, thought i'd share.

First, the FSM write-up...

Squeezing from the side is wrong. The way you disconnect it is:

1. First remove the rubber weather seal, then

2. Push down on the tab at the top middle on the outside connector (this is easiest done with the fender off as shown)

Then

3. Pry out the outside connection at the flange while the top tab is pushed down

It should slide right out. Looking at it w/o knowing, you would think it disconnects on the inside. I tried that for 20 mins with no luck

Here's a picture of the connector pulled out

Then to get the inner connector out of the car body, you need to

4. Pull out the red part at the top, then

5. Push up and in from the bottom. It should push easily into the cab with the red thing pulled out.

Hope this helps someone that's as confused as me on how to get these harnesses seperated

good work
Add which wire/pin gives the window power and this would really help people diagnose their "drivers window wont work" faults
