I'm repainting all my plastic interior parts and have pulled the HVAC panel and controls. I've unscrewed the 5 screws attaching the control box the the the front panel and removed the front 3 control dials.

However, I cannot separate the front panel from the rear section. What I am missing?

Did you remove the one at the plug connection holding the printed circuit board? I can’t remember if it’s under that piece of tape or not, it’s been a while.

 

I removed the tape (which I was hoping not to do) and it separated. Thanks!

 

Theres 2 screws holding the circuit board.

 

FYI it's a pain in the butt to do that, it's a giant floppy pile of wiring and crap. Just take your time with it.
