semi fixed clutch problem but need some input
hey guys whats up,
well before i was having a problem with my throw out bearing make the terrible scratching noise, and having a problem getting my car in gear randomly. Well me and my dad jacked up the car and took a look in the inspection plate when he noticed the retainer clip was somewhat off. He pushed it back in and it seemed to work and no more noise and no more gear engagement problems.
well now its back again, haven't had any gear problems but I still hear the noise. My question is, can I fix this without dropping the tranny somehow? Like is it possible this clip is just loose or what? I really can't guess what would cause the gear engagement problems other than just simple misalignment of the clutch due to the retainer clip on the throw out bearing. Watcha all think?
