A buddy of mine just got a BMW S1000RR, and it is an amazing bike. However, I still don't think I would rather have one than the FD. But I am by no means an experienced rider.

 

You really need* both, it's not an either/or equation. A bike will never take the place of a sports car and vice-versa. The FD is one of the better sports car bargains out there, if not the best, but you still need to bank about $18k to get into one with all the contingencies - in other words, at least two times the amount of any decent bike

well i put it up for sale... the want for another fd is greater than the want to keep the bike right now. if i decide to get another bike in the future itll be alot easier to purchase anyhow....

 

i understand what ya mean... nothing like it, but everytime i see an fd i want it sooo bad...lol

 

Do it! Im looking for another FD as well.. too bad i cant find one i like.

 

A few years ago I Sold my bike just after i got my FC, if i knew I would have spent the money i used on my FC (4K) and what I sold my GSXR for (6K) and I could have bought a FD!!! I was dumb.. oh well haha
