Seat bolt size?

I was in the process of installing my stock driver and passenger seats and realized that I misplaced the seat bolts which connect to the floor board. Which size grade 8 bolts do I need to buy. Hopefully they have them at ACE hardware. Thanks for the help.

The bolts for the seat belts are 7/16-20 x 1 inch.

I have the seat belt bolts, but they are a different size than the seat bolts, which I suppose I should have called the seat rail bolts. There are 4 of them per seat to mount the seat & seat rail assembly to the floor board.

Here is an image of the bolts in question. Anyone know what size bolts the bolts labeled 57-05X are?

Hmm, sorry about that - this was the wrong post that I attached
Dunno why I didn't notice this was the seat belt post.

I will look up the correct one as soon as I can.

I know I use a 14mm wrench on them but that won't really help.

I would buy OEM replacements as soon as possible, since these are the sole items keeping you and your seat from ejecting the vehicle. I'm sure you can get bolts of equivalent strength but why chance it. (And if you were involved in an accident where the bolts failed, you can be sure your insurance company would discover this and disavow everything)

Thanks for the help. I have decided that ordering OEM replacements or finding used bolts will be the best option.

Try this..
IF the FC bolts are the same size, which I assume they are then they are:

Seats: M10 x 1.25 x 1 inch – Fine thread

*that gives the head of the bolt a 14mm head.

Thanks for the info, I have yet to order replacement bolts. You bring up a good point, they are probably the same size as the FC or 1990s Miata bolts. I am going to check the junk yard for either of these and try it first.
