Smile Saw a 4-Rotor Today....pics

I was a the 'historic' races at laguna seca raceway in monterey. There were tons of historic GTP cars etc. I went over to the mazdaspeed camp and asked why the 787B wasn't present today and at SS5 earlier. They said it's back in it's home in japan as of now. Apparently, mazda can run rotary motors again at le mans and is considering another run.

In any case, i saw a 4-rotor FC body. It's almost identical to the 787B motor except it uses 2 plugs/chamber and other minor stuff. It still sounds like the 787B and makes nearly the same power figures. There was also a 12A 1st gen bodied car there. Fast as hell and making 240rwhp N/A. These are full out race cars etc.

the above is the link. Try and copy/pasting the link if it doesn't work. When i talked to the mechanics there, they said it made a good 600hp. I also saw some other awesome cars. A porshe 959 with 1000km, some bugattis, more porsches and some ferraris.

Copying and pasting won't matter when all the bandwidth has been used up... I'll just wait in anticipation.

they had that fc at ss5, i believe it was making 600-650hp.
the other 787b is in germany for felix wankels 100th birthday celebration. there are 2 of 3 787b's remaining. look for it on the vintage race circuit next year

What happened to the 3rd 727b? I'm assuming it was crashed fairly well?
