Samco intercooler piping... problems with install...

Has anybody ever used these? The lower (hot) hose goes on perfect, no fitment issues. However, the upper "cold" hose that goes to the stock, plastic throttle body pipe seems to be a bit too long.

When I put it on, there is a decent pinch in the bend from the intercooler to the stock, plastic pipe. Am I wrong? I am pretty certain trimming no more than a 1/4 inch off the samco hose would allow it to fit properly without a pinch in the bend.

Just asking before I hacked up the hose... anybody?

Mine fit pretty well, even with the Blitz SMIC.

Hack it.

Hm, I hope your frame isnt tweaked.

I'd say either cut it or return them and get hard pipes.

I got it to work by taking off the elbow and putting it on there first.
